Florida Grapefruit Mojito

Ingredients

  • 75ml freshly squeezed Florida Grapefruit juice
  • 50ml white rum
  • 10 fresh mint leaves, plus extra for garnish
  • 15ml sugar syrup (adjust to taste)
  • Soda water (to top up)
  • Crushed ice

Instruction

  1. Muddle the mint & sugar syrup: in a tall glass, gently muddle the fresh mint leaves with the sugar syrup to release the mint’s natural oils. Be careful not to over- muddle, as this can make the mint bitter.
  2. Add the grapefruit juice & rum: pour in the freshly squeezed Florida grapefruit juice and white rum, then stir to combine.
  3. Fill with ice:  add plenty of crushed ice to the glass.
  4. Top up with soda: pour soda water over the ice, filling the glass to the top.
  5. Garnish & serve: give it a gentle stir, then garnish with a grapefruit wedge and extra mint leaves.
