Ingredients
- 75ml freshly squeezed Florida Grapefruit juice
- Florida Grapefruit twist (for garnish)
- 50ml brandy
- 10ml sugar syrup (adjust to taste)
- 2 dashes of bitters
- 1 egg white
- 25ml sparkling water (to top)
- Ice cubes
Instruction
- Dry shake – in a cocktail shaker, add brandy, Florida Grapefruit juice, sugar syrup, bitters, and egg white. Shake vigorously without ice for 15-20 seconds to create a frothy texture.
- Wet shake – add ice cubes to the shaker and shake again for another 15 seconds to chill the drink.
- Strain & serve – strain into a chilled coupe or rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Top with sparkling water – pour a light splash of sparkling water to enhance the effervescence.
- Garnish & enjoy – garnish with a slice of Florida Grapefruit or a twist of zest for an extra citrusy aroma.
