Ingredients
- 1 Florida Grapefruit
- 250g butter or plant-based alternative
- 125g soft brown sugar
- 125g white sugar
- 6 tbsp golden syrup
- 2 tbsp mixed seeds
- 1 tbsp pumpkin seeds
- 500g rolled oats
Preparation
1. Place the butter and both sugars into a large pan on low heat. Once the butter has melted, add in the golden syrup, then turn up the heat and bring to a boil.
2. Add the zest and juice of the Florida Grapefruit.
3. Sprinkle in the seeds and oats, and stir together making sure all of the oats are covered.
4. Spoon the mixture out onto a 20cm square baking tray lined with parchment paper.
5. Using the back of a spoon, press the flapjack down so that it is all even. Bake in the oven at 170c for 20 minutes.
6. Once baked, leave the flapjack to cool before cutting into portions.
